Cloud Juice 10

Tree-Son 10-ds a guard-N
“I wonder why that receptionist tried to kill us?” Tree-Son wondered “All I did was threaten to murder all of her children and eat their corpses while she had was tied looking to a burning pole!”
“Huh,” Re sighed “I wonder why,” But Tree-Son just babbled on.
“Imeancomeon!IfsomeonethreatenedtokillandeatmychildrenIwouldn’tbemad,I wouldjustgivethemtheRIGHTthingtheywantedandgoonmyway!Isthatsohard?No!Itisn’t! Ow!”
After several minutes of wandering through the tunnels that existed under the Cat’s cave, Re had to kick Tree-Son.
“ShhhhhhhhHHHHHhhhhhHHHHhhhHHHhhHhhHhh!!!!!!!!!” Re said “Look!”
For in front of them was an evil looking sign... written in blood! With the patented blood writey pen 1000! But like they were short on blood so they used red paint! Or just wrote it with a marker! It read: secret path to Sky-God layer through garden.
Happy that he found the way, Re pushed the door open and stepped in the door. Then he fell in a carnivorous flowers mouth. Struggling, he managed to kick both the Treeoos and slam the door shut, trapping them in. Finally, he ripped the flower open and escaped drenched in slime.
“Yuck!” He said gasping for air “Why the sky god wants deadly flowers, I don’t know!” He got up and went searching for something to dry off on. He eventually found a thick dryish leaf and dried himself off. When he returned to the group, he found Tree-Son looking at all of the plants, astonished at their variety.
“Uhh, Re?” Tree-Son asked “Can I stay here with the plants? I think they need me.”
Re considered this. He did need a companion, but the plants did look dead and probably needed Tree-Son’s help. Deciding to be selfish, he grabbed Tree-Son, turned around, and briskly walked away with Tree-Son crying.
“Don’t worry,” Re said “This way we can complete our adventure and tell the Sky God of the plants. Then he will give them better care than you ever could and you wouldn’t have to devote your life to them.”
“Oh, yeah.” Tree-Son said. “I’m glad you said that. Otherwise my life might have been wasted on something nobody wants.”
