Electric Flip

Dr. Biggle von Wiggle had done it! For many years, he has saved up and salvaged around 6 trillion dollars. With this, he plans to buy every single bit of copper in the world. It will take a long time, but he has more than 10,000 years to do it.

The copper will be used for his horrible plan. He is planning to destroy all life on earth.

Slowly, over the course of many years, he carefully wraps the copper around the earth. It floats in space, 1,000 above the ground and barely visible. The copper goes around once, and only once. The Dr. hopes it will work anyway.

And more waiting. He goes into his hyper sleep chamber, and waits for his instruments to wake him. While he sleeps, the constantly monitor the Earth’s core, while other tiny robots go around, repairing the copper wire.

Then, on February 31st of the year 3069.235, his slumber is stopped. The core is ready. He runs out of his lab, while quickly shoving on his special suit.

He feels the ground rumble under his feet. Then, Earth’s magnetic field flips. Energy is forced through the copper he wound around the Earth. Lightning is shot everywhere. Only Biggle in his special suit is protected.

All other life is killed.
