Bug Adventures: Book 12: Bugtown Tall-Tales

Another book! This one I had illustrated by a friend, and I think that turned out really cool. Oh wait, you can't actually see it. Sorry.

Book 12: Bugtown Tall-Tales
The group of bugs were talking and laughing at the park. Steve Stick-bug grumbled. “What’s wrong?” Everyone asked, and he replied “I hate that Lisa Ladybug.”. Everyone laughed, because she seemed so nice.
“Why?” They asked. So Steve said “Because she’s a kidnapper!”. Everyone looked at him confused, and a few began staring at Lisa.
“Yeah. The thing is, Mrs. innocent Ladybug over there kidnapped Al Ant and forced him into slavery!
He refused to give her his bank account number, so she kidnapped a child as a threat! That is why Preston looks nothing like her or Al.”
An excited worm blurted in and finished the story: “Then she brainwashed Al to think he loves her!
It worked so well, that it accidentally worked on her too, and thats why they have such a good marriage.”
Another bug sighed. “No, I heard that Al really does love her, and he chose to become her slave. But he loves her because she has evil magic.
He saw her throw a fireball and instantly fell in love. He tricked her into loving him, to then marry her and steal her powers.”
“Pshaw! The only thing they ever stole was Preston! Her neighbor Alex Aphid stole some celery from her garden, and Lisa was furious!
As punishment, she stole Alex's first-born child and trapped him in a tower!"
"But I thought she ate Alex Aphid as punishment, then hid the rest of the body so she couldn’t get caught."
"She did, but then later used the leftover body parts to genetically engineer… Uh… Hi Preston.”
"What are you kids talking about?” Lisa Ladybug asked. “I heard you saying our names a few times.” All of the boys squirmed, trying to figure out what to say.

Lisa laughed. "It's okay. I know you don't actually believe any of that stuff." She turned and started walking away, calling back: “I wouldn't want to kidnap more bugs." And all but Steve began laughing.
