Cloud Juice 6

Yuke’s 6 faces

In through the front door, Cammer came in, trailing 3 travelers. Yuke sighed and put on her ‘welcome travelers’ face and her ‘welcome travelers’ voice. She left out her ‘murder all travelers’ mask and gloves, you know, just in case.

“Welcome travelers!” Yuke said enthusiastically “You must be very tired after your long journey! Come inside and eat! You must be absolutely famished!” she made sure to say each word with as much enthusiasm as she could so they wouldn’t suspect anything.

“Yes, we have been on a long journey and need replenishing.” The big one replied “Do you happen to have any nutrients we could place in our stomachs to be broken down so they can be transported around our body and turned into energy in our cells?”

“Uhhhhhhhhhhh” Yuke muttered putting on her confused face

“Food” Cammer whispered

“Ohhhhh!” Yuke replied “Yes we have some food. Its on the fire right now” then she put on her sneaky mask and snuck off to the corner.

Cammer brought the guests in and seated them down at a table while Yuke prepared the soup.

“So,” Yuke chattered, drowning out the pouring noise she was making “What is your adventure? Have you been on it for long?”

“Well, we have only been on it for a few short chapters, but so far I have gained two companions which is a start.” The big man said as he was served a bowl of soup.

“He is trying to find cloud juice” Tree-Son muttered as he declined soup “I only need water, but I guess I can absorb it out of here”

“Hmm,” Yuke thought with her ‘thinking’ face “I think the only way to get cloud juice is... I think the sky-god probably can get you some”

“Great!” Re said, finishing off his soup “That will be easy enough to get.”

“I guess,” Tree-Son mumbled as he and Miss Tree finished their soup.

“Ah, HA!” Yuke yelled putting on her  ‘murder all travelers’ mask “That soup was poisoned!”

“And it was good too.” Re confirmed “I remember when my mom would feed me iguana spit so I would fall asleep for our game of zombies. Although, she never really told me when we were going to play. I wonder why.”

“YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DIE!” Yuke shouted with her angry face “WHY DIDN’T ANY OF YOU DIE?!?!? Only 3 people can eat poison and not die, and they are part of the pro...oh, yeah.”

“Well...” Re said getting up “Thanks again. I guess. We’ll be leaving now, so, umm, bye.”
