Chapter 8

The Truth

In the door Jake went, not caring where it led. He slammed the door shut and locked it, safe for the moment. The doorway led to a gigantic room, bursting with machines and machinery. A small path led to the main computer, six great screens, hanging over the largest and probably most advanced computer Jake would see in his life. “Bwah hah ha ha ha! Now I have you and I will be able to get my revenge! I am glad my clones fooled you!” A voice called out somewhere above Jake. Then a giant platform started moving down, straight towards Jake! “Ahhhhhhhhhh!” Jake screamed as the platform slowly crushed him. “Where is that noise coming from?” The voice said “Oops! I crushed Jake!” The platform lifted up, but Jake was too busy screaming to do anything, until the voice told him to get up. He crawled out from under the platform, turned around, and saw who the dark one really was! “Bob!?!?” “Jake? What are you doing here? Never mind! Get out of the way! I must crush the person who has made my life miserable, killed hundreds and spread evil throughout the land. Cheuy.” Bob said, saying the last word with disgust. Jake was confused. “Why would you want to do that? Cheuy is really nice and set me free and didn’t steal my powers like you and inducted you to fight the dark ones and is nice and cute and sweet and sometimes she is really beautiful and she is...” “Enough!” Bob roared “She has always tortured me! Called me names, hurt me, killed everyone I loved! Now she wiped the citizens memory and is operating under a protection spell to make her wrongs look like rights! Now I will destroy her!” With that Bob flew out the window and headed for Cheuy’s castle. Now Jake was scared. He ran back down the hall to the closet, jumped into a passing railcar, and finished the ride.
