The Cake Under the Lake 2

The Cake Under the Lake, Part 2
With 2 parts from part 1, to remember what was going on

Paul falls on his knees
Coughing: "Save me please!"
And collapses from poisoned cake.

Was the kid really innocent?
Then why is Paul dead?
What did we do wrong?
How were we mislead?

And so, with a sigh,
the man baked a new pie,
and hid something special inside

This pie would go,
and the kid would not know,
and then, we will know what he does

He went back to the surface
with a definite purpose
The kid would pay for his crimes

But when he got there
he received quite a scare
for the kid was nowhere in sight

Where did they go
he wanted to know
to get his deadly revenge...

A man and his pie,
He really wanted to cry,
But then, he remembered the balloon.

So with a hop and a skip,
then a switch he did flip,
up and away he went

The people turned to ants,
the trees to weeds,
the houses to rocks,
the cars mere seeds.
But there was only one ant the man wanted.

He looked high and low
through rain and through snow
but couldn't find whom he seeked

this kid, really could hide
you might think he had died
but alas he was still somewhere unknown

Then he heard a cry...
a cry for fresh pie,
he had finally found that bad kid

The balloon hit the ground,
on a high desert mound,
right outside a hot dry villa

He ran in and seized,
the kid on his knees,
and gave him the special pie

He watched in secret.
He watched the kid eat it.
He watched and now knows all.

The end
or so we thought
for it was not quite over

The kid fell back
and he started to hack
into that dark questionable mind

He finished the puzzle
So he started to nuzzle
in new pieces of thought

The kid was now his!
Their brain turned to fizz
He now had a new Paul for his cave

It wasn't long,
before Paul was singing a song,
about his great new master.

Shouldn't have done it.
No he should not.
Poisoning friends,
for all that they've got.

Because now he has nothing,
(except for his owner)
All his friends gone,
He is a loner.

The sweetest of unsweetened popcorn.
How wonderful.
How perfect.
How evil.

The End
