Bug Adventures: Book 9: Scarlet's Admirer

Book 10:
Scarlet Spider chewed her fly carcass. She looked disapprovingly at the spider next to her, the guy who gave her this. She couldn’t remember his name. Slam, or Man, or something.
She didn’t like him. He just liked her for her gorgeous looks. She sighed, wishing he would leave her alone.
She looked over when the ugly ladybug in the corner suddenly stopped crying. She was staring at San, and quickly got up and rushed over, pushing Scarlet out of the way.
Scarlet laughed when Can squirmed, trying to nicely get rid of the stupid ladybug. She got up and walked away while he was distracted. He tried to call after her, but was trapped.
Scarlet quickly walked out of the restaurant, but Lam escaped and followed. The ladybug quickly followed, trying to catch Sand.
They chased each other for a while, until Scarlet finally ducked into an alley. Slam ran by, still being chased by the ladybug. Scarlet quietly slipped out and ran the other way.
On the way home she bumped into her friend Sarah Scorpion. She sighed with relief and started walking with Sarah to her house, laughing all the way there.
“Its terrible” Scarlet complained. “There is this creepy spider dude giving me stuff. I think he likes me, but he just isn’t my type.”
Sarah started jumping around. “OMG!!” she screamed “That’s the only spider in town! Sam!” Sarah was giggling with excitement, but Scarlet still asked “So?”.
Sarah could hardly keep herself from screaming. “He’s was mayor! He’s saved Bugtown so many times its crazy! He is the most desired bug of all time!”
Scarlet couldn’t believe it. The mayor was in love with her? Think of all the power! She quickly ran to find Sam, leaving Sarah confused and jealous.
She found Sam still being chased around central park. She ran up and hugged him, crying for Sam to love her.
He was startled, but hugged her back. He smiled and sighed, happy that he finally found true love.

Behind them, the ladybug bumped into Al ant. Scarlet smiled when they hugged. Everyone was finding love tonight, or in some cases rediscovering it.
